Our story

In November 2016, in my bedroom at my mum's house, I started a new hobby; creating jewellery. My first designs were a little flawed to say the least (being self taught), but my wonderful friends and family supported my new little hobby and purchased a few items for Christmas.

I decided to open an Etsy account come early 2017 and branch out into the unknown aka the UK population.

I worked a 8am-5pm Mon-Fri job at the time so leaving this to go full time with Little Grey Moon in the March was a huge leap of faith. A decision I never looked back on and one I'm extremely grateful I made.

During the first year in business I even used to handstamp all of my packaging as you can see in the photographs. I will always be a little sentimental over this packaging!

Fast forward 3 years to 2020 and as I'm sure everyone is aware, we faced a global pandemic. The world essentially shut down. However, one week into the first lockdown, I found out I was expecting my first baby.

So for me, there was no stopping. I worked up until the day before my due date in December, with 2020 ultimately being the year my business grew the most it ever had done.

In December, I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy Arthur. I went on maternity leave (for a whole 3 months!). When returning to work, I was beyond grateful that I was able to work so flexibly around my child. Something I still feel so lucky I'm able to do to this day.

It's 2025 and the past year has been a year of substantial growth for Little Grey Moon and myself included. I've taken huge leaps of faith, pushed myself so far outside of my comfort zone and as a business, we have thrived.

I've held two photoshoots, launched an entire new range of tarnish free/waterproof jewellery whilst in Greece, worked with some incredible women and a dream came true when my jewellery debuted in a local store, Mococo.

Over 8 years into business and I truly couldn't be more in love with my work. I wake up every single day feeling beyond grateful I get to call this my 'job'.

I have some big plans for 2025, ones I'm going to keep to myself for now...(I know, I'm THAT annoying person!). But just know, you will want to be here to see, so watch this space!

I am feeling more aligned than ever with my business, I know which areas I would like to focus on and there are so many new paths I'd like to explore.

One thing I would like to do in the future, which I will share, is help others launch their own businesses/ventures. I hope to encourage others to believe in themselves and pursue that 'thing' they've been dreaming of doing. This is something I will be working on in the near future.
